Hi, I’m Molly

As a Mental Performance Coach, I work with athletes to build a foundation strong enough to weather the inevitable pits and peaks of sport.

My Sport Story

My curiosity to learn new things and discover my personal best has always been a driving force behind my most monumental seasons of life. Despite not always being the most natural athlete, I fell in love with the process of improvement. As a high school student-athlete, I developed a love of running that I still have to this day. Eventually, I bought a bike and joined the triathlon team at the University of Arizona. I found myself falling in love with learning again. My first year on the triathlon team I finished near last place, and I came home with more passion and determination than ever before. Fast forward three years and I finished in 2nd place at USAT Collegiate Nationals with a license to race professionally. After racing professionally for 3 years, I was diagnosed with RED-S and had to press pause on my professional athletic career to focus on my health. In this time, I found an entirely new relationship with sport. As I had before, I started as a rookie and began my Masters degree in Sport Psychology. Once again, I found myself falling in love with learning. I applied my 20+ years as an athlete to learn how to help other athletes fall in love with the process, learn from difficult moments, find joy and fulfillment in their sport, and find success through happiness. All along, I’ve learned that sport is about learning from the ‘pits’ and enjoying the ‘peaks.’

My approach

My evidence-based methods are informed by the context of athlete’s identity, cultural values, and individual circumstances. These approaches orient towards diversity and equality, extending to race, social class, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, gender, and disability. I use Person-Centered(PCT) and holistic, strength-based models to help athletes increase enjoyment and performance in sport and life.
